Malaysia artist and designer need a lot of change in this field of Art. I still found that Art in Malaysia is very outdated and old fashion. I hardly find one that can stand on international stage. Designer here knows about software but hardly appreciate art. How many artist knows about working on paper before moving to the computer? A good designer and artist will work on paper and art material first, not the computer. I am very disappointed with local Art and design here. Some even hold a degree but very old fashion… try to learn from the West, try to explore new way of approach to Art would be great. Don’t just depend on the computer, computer is dead, but the mind of the designer or artist ought to be alive. Pls don’t allowed the computer to lower down the potential of the mind in creating Art. Create good Art and design.
