Time for the web round-up for June. Today is the final for Euro 2008. 45 minutes before the match start, I am here writing for this month my highly rated articles and web resources. In this month, I made a few updates for LD. I created a flickr group for LoonDesign, a web design news submission page and also the similar posts function in the end of every posts. May, this is a big month for me. I just release my first ever free wordpress theme. So far, I received quite a lot of feedback from it. Good and bad. I am happy with them. There are several errors or bugs occurred for the first release version. However, I manage to solved it regarding to the useful feedback from the users. Thanks a lot. I am here to say thank you to all of them whoever used or using my free theme. I will try my best and release more in the future and contribute more to wordpress. Wow, April had past. We step into May now. Anyway, April was an exciting month for the web developer/designer. The launch of Nettuts has bring a new heat to the tutorial industry. Nettuts is a new site after PSDTuts. You can find some high quality web design/development tutorial from the site. The first tutorial about Create a Slick Tabbed Content Area using CSS & jQuery was receiving 120 comments so far.

Time past fast, it is month end soon for March. LoonDesign doesn’t have much update since last post. Kai Loon is a bit bust with his premanent job recently and also his first WordPress theme is also nearly done. I will talk more about it in my next post, please stay tune if you are interested on the themes by Kai Loon. Well, what Kai Loon read in this March? well, there are always many to share with you. Started from this month, Kai Loon will provide the monthly collection of the quality sites, tutorials, resources and articles for LoonDesign readers. It is a nice collection for you to browse them in one shot! Well, since Kai Loon is addicted to web design. The content will be mainly focus on the related field. Even thought LoonDesign only provide photoshop, Illustrator and recently added CSS tricks but Kai Loon will also provide resources sites for Javascript or any other web developer’s helpful resources. There are mainly 3 section for the Monthly Web Resources entry. There are Tutorials, Freebies and Inspired Web Design (not really the latest launched). Kai Loon will also select 1 of the most inspired site to be featured on the top right of LoonDesign.
